Don’t miss the [Notable] Class of '74 Tri-State 39th reunion! (Yes, the 40th up in Ithaca is that close.) It will be at the Cornell Club (just a 4 minute walk from Grand Central) Friday evening, April 19th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.
If you’ve attended an official reunion on campus you know how much fun they are and won’t want to miss your 39th. If you haven’t, this is a good way to warm up for the 40th by finding out by catching up with old friends and making new ones. Being a Cornell alum is a common bond you can share with anyone.
As hosts, we are asking that you help us out by planning to attend and then reaching out to your roommates, old crushes, teammates, people you worked with at WVBR, the Cornell Daily Sun, the film club, fraternity and sorority classmates, etc. (in short all of your friends throughout the Tri-State region) and make plans to meet them April 19th . Lets make this a reunion in its truest sense.
We know that a later train home or making a trip into the city can seem like an obstacle but it’s one well worth making a commitment to ignore this one evening. There will be a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres but, more importantly (and it’s free!), 3 hours to feel 18 again. RSVP
We sincerely look forward to seeing you there.

Join the Celebration: April 24–27, 2015
On April 27, 1865 the governor of New York State signed the bill that officially established Cornell University’s charter. Now, 150 years later, we’ll spend a four-day weekend commemorating this day in our history–the day that defined our land-grant mission and set the stage for generations of Cornellians to help, to solve, and to transform the world.
Charter Day Weekend is filled with more than two dozen official events celebrating the global contributions of Cornell alumni, faculty, staff and students. Additional campus activities will take place throughout the weekend—everything from athletic events and special exhibits to the unveiling of the Sesquicentennial Ice Cream. All events are open to the public. Limited video streaming opportunities will be available throughout the weekend.
While 2015 is not one of the five-year "reunions" for the Class of 1974, consider visiting the campus during the Reunion Weekend. Learn about Reunion 2015 from the Cornell web site.

The Big Red is UNDEFEATED going into this weekend, following thrilling wins over Bucknell, Yale, and Colgate. For those of us who can't get enough of Big Red football, or who can't go to the Harvard game this weekend, we have another opportunity to see them play in New England -- on Saturday, October 22, at Brown.
My wife Gail and I have recently moved back to New England (Bristol, RI, to be precise) after several years in California. We're planning to tailgate at the Brown game, and we'd be delighted if you could join us! We'll be in Parking Lot A, adjacent to the Brown stadium, and we'll have adequate space for a good-sized group. We'll provide the basics, but please feel free to bring your beverages of choice and perhaps something for the table. More details will follow once we know who's coming. If you'd like to join us, please respond to me at the email address below.
